The Fall Color Trip I led a few weeks ago was a great success. All participants left with great images and the weather and lighting held out for us throughout the entire weekend. I can’t say enough how impressed I was with how willing the participants were to look for opportunities other than the main waterfalls.

I was able to spend 1-on-1 time with each photographer and they also had time on their own creating amazing images. The color was peaking in the Upper Peninsula which provided many settings for everyone to be creative.

Macro tended to be popular at each spot. Whether it was individual leaves, ferns or stunning mushrooms each photographer put the time in to bring the vision in their head to reality.

The main attraction for this Workshop was definitely waterfalls. All in all we hit 5 waterfalls and 2 Lake Superior Beach spots. We spent between 1 and 3 hours at each spot which gave ample time exploring areas for creative imagery. It was an absolute pleasure shooting with everyone.

For those interested in the next trip, it will be in the Midwest photographing Bald Eagles in the wild. Please click HERE to see full details.
